THANKSGIVING CLIMB

Going back to the first mountain i climb. To give you an idea during may 2014 i was very hesitant to trek wearing unfashionable pair of high school blue jogging pants & tee, well who the hell cares? as long as im color coordinated no one can stop me. To recall, it was my first time getting DRUNK at the mountain, yes! its a fact because i usually take only one shot then i'm done.

It was also my first time meeting every single one of them "jalaman team", truly a surreal gift from Mt. Batulao. Up to this moment while writing this,I did not imagine that the folks i imaginarily hate would become part of my gala, chika, lamyerda & daily life, why? " because mountaineering is not fashionable at all, not at all" but i'm used to it already. hahahaha

Mt. Batualo is 2nd among the easiest mountain I've survived, First timers will surely enjoy the breath taking views & cold sunny weather main reason why I've always wanted to go back. Even though you're only 4-5 persons the trail is very easy so no need for a guide in my opinion. No need to bring foods & water as well cause along the way there are several sari-sari stores were snacks & refreshments are available. With a thousand peso budget which is more that enough for your food, transportation, you can also visit sky ranch via bus 20 mins away from the area.

This time i was with bea & brenda whom i meet on my first climb and few friends i saw that day. We started trekking around 9am & reached the peak around 10:30am after we started to decent around 12:30pm and finished our adventure around 2:30 which means we still have time to eat bulalo & visit skyranch, Amazing right?
Thank you Mt.batulao for all the blessings! Until next time!

MT.TELAKAWA THE OTHER SIDE OF PINATIBO

We end up struggling going up and down because it was a rain or shine whether during our climb considering as well that its only a day hike without enough supply of water and etc. Anyways let me give you a brief background about mt. telakawa

Billed as the next best thing along Crow Valley next to Mt. Pinatubo, Mt. Telakawa is the alternative mountain destination for visitors who are up to a more extreme hiking challenge. Standing proudly at 630 meters above sea level, “Telakawa” literally means “a pot placed upside down” because of its shape. You may start your trek at the Aeta community of Dalig and possibly chance upon freshwater turtles at a creek on the way to the summit. Once at the top, get treated to a stunning view of the lahar landscape that both acts as a article from http://tarlac-adventure-trails.com/mt_telakawa.html

Our group went there not only to witness the stunning view of telakawa but mainly to share some goods for our pinatubo friends like school supplies, hygiene kits , clothing and candy treats which brought them smiles and tears. It was truly fulfilling to see each one of them happy and indeed it was a perfect birthday climb for me.  Aside from that i was very glad to meet new friends "team push it" along the way special mention to our organizer Sir Jojo Geronimo who made this event possible. We went home suffering from extensive muscle pain, few bruises but well it was all worth it! We survived! Kudos to team push it!

More adventures to come on the following months .Enjoy my photos guys!

Mt. Batulao "My first climb"

Well well well too late to upload this one but better than never right? Just to give you a brief background Mt. Batulao is located in batangas near tagaytay so expect a cool whether which is a great pleasant escape from the busy & polluted city. Also the landscape of Mt. Batulao is quite remarkable so this is a good mountain to start your first like me! All photos are extracted only from my mobile phone so don't expect sharp and fabulous quality. On my next trip i will surely share something extraordinary.

Always expect the unexpected! While on our way up the rain poured so heavy so we need to seek refuge under few mini stores, lol "unexpectedly" located there and to cover those moments here are my fabulous selfies. As said on my previous blog during my Mt. Manalmon adventure i don't fancy trekking because imagine not having a regular bath for few days? hahahaha and look at my outfit, i was teased because i looked like a p.e student haha at least i'm color coordinated.

#GONINI Mt. Manalmon-Mt. Gola "Dayhike".

I'm not really into "trekking" but now i'm starting to like it, i mean i definitely love it already! Meeting new people & getting to know them are actually the things i'm looking forward in the future.  For this trip we went to Mt. Manalmon-Mt. Gola 3 hours travel from manila to bulacan. 2 mountains fronting each other both you can reach the peak  within 30 mins hike.  At first it was raining so heavy so the trail was slippery & not easy special since i'm a newbie! i have no trekking sandals which was necessary  & remember i'm not used to this activities. lol

Meet my friends mark on the left side beside marifie on raincoats, Sir Jalaman head organizer of jalaman';s adventure beside me edmund & jaq.

DAVAO EXTREMES "The Local Way"

I'm finally Back! This time we went to Davao City "Durian capital of the phil". Anyways before you enjoy my whole experience let me give you some tips on how to make the most out of your trip to Davao or any island you're planning to go, no 1: plan at least 2-3 months prior to your desired date 2: Design your itinerary according to everyone's preference "don't be selfish"  3: learn how to budget & don't pretend to be always rich & fabulous, remember you might run out of cash 4: don't bring to much "kikay kits" & learn how to re-use your cloths & stuff.

All photos are unprocessed downloaded straight from my Sony Xperia Z.
